Whether it’s a podcast, a new restaurant, or our latest BookShop order, rating and reviewing helps us cement what works and what doesn’t, and it helps us communicate what we want and expect. An important part of creating, running, scaling, and leveraging your business is to regularly review your systems. “Set it and forget it” is not a strategy – it’s a liability.
I created this Workbook to help you assess a handful of your most important systems.
Obviously, there are tons of systems and structures in your business, but these five are the best places to start! After decades of working with legal and coaching clients who were struggling with running and scaling their businesses, and decades of learning how to handle my own business and building systems that work for me, here’s what I learned about building business systems:
- it’s not as hard or as complicated as you probably think it is, and
- creating what work for YOU is more important than doing what everyone else is doing.
This Workbook is a modified, simplified version of the exact process I use with my 1:1 clients.
As you work through each section, I want you to listen to your gut and intuition. Allow enough time between your responses to dig deeper. You don’t have to do this all in one sitting, either; take care of your emotional and mental health, too.
